 Evangelos Kavathas. Selas S/S 2011. Great show, great outfits. You know I am a fan of simplicity, so it was more than obvious that I would love the clothes. Natural aesthetic with clean and simple lines, luxurious silk garments and mild color palette. Loved the big V on dresses and the draping details.

"Selas S/S 2011


Sudden pattern appearances and rapid transformations of color displays form the aurora (selas). A phenomenon, reflected in the collection with disparate colors in perfect harmony, succeeding one another with flares of jewellery and hand emboidered organic fabric appearing in between the colors' shifting.
In the design part of the collection one finds elements of draping and layering, on clean forms with harmonious naturalness, making accessible the phenomenon of selas in our Mediterranean perception."
